Public Safety Systems and Wireless Data Networking

ARINC builds wireless networks that seamlessly integrate the field operation systems carried over Wi-Fi, private radio, and commercial wireless services that safeguard public safety. By eliminating the mistakes and delays common with voice radio, wireless data networks save time, money, and lives. ARINC also gives you the assurance of single-source responsibility—vital when your new network must work with legacy systems, computer-aided dispatch (CAD), and record management system (RMS). Did You Know

ARINC recently completed installation of a mobile data network in 900 cars of the Prince George's County, Maryland, police department, making this turnkey system one of the largest in the United States. We designed the network and provided full integration with the county's CAD and RMS systems. Officers can now save valuable time by filing reports and other paperwork electronically, from the patrol car. The delay for incident reports to appear in the system has been shortened from days to hours. And the average wait for license plate checks has been cut from 10 minutes to about 7 seconds.
