Data Applications
ARINC offers a range of electronic data applications engineering
services that streamline both government and commercial operations.
Our Enhanced
Logbook Automation System (ELAS) is a paperless aviation-maintenance
solution developed for the U.S. Army. The system is used for aircraft,
flight line, hangar, and maintenance shop processes, providing
full fleet visibility and support for all maintenance activities.
Our Web-Based
Aircraft Systems Analysis (WebASA) tool provides easy web
access to ELAS data, allowing analysts to query the repository
and evaluate component configuration, maintenance trends and status,
part and serial number installation, and overall fleet readiness.
ARINC has also developed a LAN- and web-based electronic data
archival and retrieval system and technical data management system
for the U.S. Air Force.
Other ARINC time- and money-saving electronic data applications
solutions include:
- Secure Information Management SystemA LAN/WAN-based
infrastructure that provides secure operational data to authorized
personnel
- Planning and Rehearsal Information SystemA suite of
tools that streamline the creation of visual databasesmaps,
satellite imagery, radar data, and other sourcesused on
Tactical Operational Scene devices and full-scale flight simulators
- Government Test and Integration FacilityAn environment
that emulates hardware and software infrastructure for government
agency solutions, allowing ARINC to test new components prior
to operational implementation
In addition, we convert hard- and soft-copy documentation into
Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML)-based interactive
electronic technical manuals that comply with Continuous Acquisition
Life-Cycle Support (CALS) standards and Air Transport Association
Specification 2100.
