Acquisition Management
For 30 years, the Dayton ARINC team has been assisting Department of Defense (DoD) program offices in the acquisition of weapon and support systems, extending our expert services at every level—from the operational unit to major command headquarters to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
The Dayton team supports all the major program functions, including planning, programming, budgeting, contracting, engineering, logistics, maintenance, financial tracking, and configuration control. Tasking initiates with the analysis of military need and laboratory concept evaluation, maturation, and testing.
The ongoing acquisitions process continues with early program formation, tracking system development progress and prime contractor performance, maintenance and logistics services, field and interim system support, and the identification and management of system upgrades. Finally, we assist with program transfer and closeout tasking.
Examples of Dayton’s acquisitions support include:
- Developing and maintaining a mission needs and solutions tracking system for a major aeronautical center and an entire foreign air component
- Developing a summary for special operations community senior staff, including AFSOC
- Providing acquisition management and contracting training to major aero laboratories
- Rapid-response solutions for multiple aeronautical center programs, including obtaining pre-production units, unexpected redesign support, multiple contractor integration and management, major vendor support, studies and analysis, and interim system maintenance and support
- Senior system engineering and acquisition management expertise for major command headquarters including AFMC, SAF/IA, SAF/AQ, and HQ USAF
- Current Wright-Patterson customers include: A-10, B-2, C-5, C-17, C-130, CSAR-X, KC-X, Global Hawk, F-15, F-16, T-1, AFRL, and ASC/FM among others
