ARINC Names Brad Little, Formerly with Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, as Senior Director of International Development

Annapolis, Maryland—ARINC Engineering Services, LLC today announced the appointment of Bradley J. Little as the company’s Senior Director of International Development.
Little brings an extensive background in management from the private sector. He most recently served as Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff with the U.S. Department of State in Afghanistan and Iraq, helping direct U.S. reconstruction efforts from 2005 to 2009. He became a consultant to ARINC in December 2009.
Little is a recognized expert in the emerging fields of peace operations and national resilience, which includes many components of nation-building such as border security, reconstruction, military and police training, logistics, and intelligence. He joins the ARINC Defense Systems Engineering & Support Division, headed by Vice President Monty Montero.
“Brad Little’s remarkable background covers many areas ARINC is energetically pursuing right now, from border security and infrastructure challenges to national defense and maritime systems,” stated Montero. “His expertise will help increase the scope of our work and enhance the results for our customers in these areas.”

Mr. Little has worked in the private sector in management consulting for 15 years, including work on an interim basis for the Federal Government at Senior Executive levels on several occasions, including SIGAR, the Iraq Reconstruction Management Office, and the Iraqi Ministry of Interior. Prior to his work in consulting, Mr. Little held several senior P&L positions in private industry. In 1983 he was Managing Director of Advanced Programs for the Defense Business Unit of Gould Incorporated, involved in Defense systems development. From 1987 to 1990 he held worldwide responsibility as Vice President of Marketing for the Emerson Electric Company Computer Power and Industrial Controls Divisions. In 1993 he became Chief Executive of Informer Data Security, Inc., a successful California software startup which he led through first and second round financing. His management and financial background led him to the field of management consulting in 1997, where he has held senior positions with Egon Zehnder International, R.J. Watkins & Company Ltd., and DHR International.
Mr. Little is a 1976 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the Naval Nuclear Propulsion School. He received his MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management in 1983 in Finance, Management Strategy and Policy. He is a retired U.S. Navy Reserve Officer. He and his wife reside in Idaho and have two children in college.
