ARINC to Provide Emergency Messaging Service for Regional Operations of Diamond Waste

Annapolis, Maryland—ARINC Incorporated today announced that Diamond Waste Services, a leading regional waste management company serving Maryland and Virginia, has contracted to use the ARINC Bizhop^TM cellular emergency messaging service.

Diamond will use the rapid text message capability of Bizhop to alert its fleet drivers about road conditions, and to notify hundreds of commercial customers when weather affects their pick-up schedules.

Users of Bizhop messaging service can send messages to hundreds of recipients at once by using a cell phone or PDA. No Internet connection is required. Pre-stored or personalized text messages are transmitted over ARINC’s private, secure networks and delivered to recipients via standard cellular SMS text and e-mail services.
